antedote guides

what do our guides do?

antedote guides act as mentors, models, teachers and supports to groups of young men we call "crews."

day to day, this looks like facilitating a range of engaging play and learning experiences like cold plunges, improv games, art and performance projects, sports events, socratic seminars, guided meditations, reflective discussions, yoga classes and much more.

we make sure our guides are trained with the skills and resources they need to feel confident and creative on the job.

our practice is based on a massive library of plug-and-play modules so you'll never be at a loss for creating a powerful experience for your crew.

the antedote guide program.

the antedote guide program is a comprehensive, in-person course that prepares you with the foundational principles and skills to be confident, effective supports to your crews and fellow guides.

taking place over three consecutive weekends, the program is designed to accommodate weekday work schedules.

the program is built on the principles of our evidence-based roots:

  • hours of engaging hands on learning

  • relevant practice and compassionate inquiry

  • joining a team of men who are biased toward action, care about their community, and interested in effective, evidence based ways to make a positive impact.

full time guide support.

guides are asked nothing less than to represent a new paradigm of group facilitation. to that end, we provide ample support to our guides including one-on-one mentor sessions, office hours, peer-to-peer growth buddies and weekly, monthly and yearly continuing education.

who are you?

to be successful as an antedote guide, you care about men's mental health and the future that young men will go on to create and endure in the coming decades.

you have a keen interest in personal growth and a willingness to get into deeper contact your self and others.

you are ready to learn and try new things and above all, to practice and embody the principles and skills you will learn as as guide.
